After camping for one season we decided to replace the carpet with hardwood flooring, so that it would be easier to keep clean. We have 3 kids and a dog… After removing all the furniture and carpet we decided it would also be a great time to paint. One thing leading to another and now it’s a full on remodel. We are almost finished but we will share our progress. Updates include painting walls, cabinets, window trims, cabinet hardware, light fixtures, ac covers, light switches, side tables. Installed new flooring in the whole RV. Installed vinyl trim 1 1/2 from Home Depot, highly recommend because it is bendable. We carpeted the engine cover and updated the box that sits on top. The driver side floor board is at an angle, so we made a custom floor mat for this area out of diamond plate rubber. We purchased custom curtains from blinds.com, they are 2in vinyl blinds and they work great. What we have left to finish is the front windshield curtains, new accordion door for bedroom and a few more odds and ends. Update!! We have finished the front curtains and lamp shades. We purchased extra long blackout curtains 120in x40in we turned then sideways and used iron on seams to shorten them. We used the old hooks from the previous curtains. The lamp shades we purchased plaid fabric and adhered them with fabric glue. The shades will match our comforter, that hasn’t arrived yet. We are still waiting for the new bedroom door to arrive.
