This is what we did to get about 40 more sq ft of space in bedroom and have a den for kids dogs for the journey there.
We picked up a couch from Ikea with chase lounger and storage. This sectional turns into a bed at night and also wedges perfectly into the back wall side to side. Chase is reversible but we decided to have it on drivers side for easier movement in room. We had to modify the duct opening for furnace which was easily done with piece of plywood. I then while electrical was exposed rerouted it and installed 2 outlets in the back wall with usb charging plugs. Mount conduit was from menards and lowes.
